What Do You Tip for Something Like This?

I have a feeling that this is going to catch on. A sports bar in Atlanta, Georgia has installed self-serve beer taps at some of its tables. Patrons can pour their own beers straight from the taps. Each equipped table has two taps and customers can try their hand at pulling their own beers – it’s not necessarily as easy as it looks.

The taps are hooked up to a meter. Customers are charged by the ounce and every 180 ounces the server has to reapprove the table; an ID check I presume.

This is one of those “Well, duh!” ideas. You might not have thought of it before but now that it’s been implemented it seems like a painfully obvious crowd-pleaser and money maker.
