Beer drinkers are a loyal lot. Often a beer lover will discover a particular beer or brewer and drink it almost exclusively. Then there are those who discover that they hate a particular brand of beer and spend the rest of their life deriding it. I have a feeling that Warwick Franks falls into the later category. Often mischaracterized as Mexican Independence Day, Cinco de Mayo has spread well beyond Mexico’s borders and is enthusiastically celebrated here in the US. In the same spirit as St. PatrickÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s Day when everyone seems to turn Irish, Cinco de Mayo celbrants in the US seek to embrace the culture of their neighbor to the south and what better way than to drink copious amounts of their beer?
