If Inbev does wind up going through with the take-over of Anheuser-Busch the battle isn’t necessarily lost. It could be reversed.

The trend of nostalgic beer brands continues with the return of Schlitz beer to its native Milwaukee this week. The beer, now being brewed by Pabst Brewing Co., is based on the original recipe.

In case you haven’t heard European beer giant Inbev appears to be making moves to take over Anheuser-Busch. Overall I don’t think that this move would really mean that much. Let’s consider a couple of recent instances of big beer mergers and acquisitions.
